Shouts to my folk DJ Delz for hitting me with this video of classic era Hip-Hop MC Rakim performing at the soon to be closing Knitting Factory in NYC during their last Hip-Hop concert yesterday (so many live Hip-Hop venues are closing nationwide, it's a shame).
In my opinion, Rakim is one of the few MCs in Hip-Hop - especially representing East Coast Hip-Hop Music sound and feel - that has not fallen off and as remained solid - real talk.
