BlackRadioIsBack.com New Music & Video: "Notorious" Movie Preview & Downloads

What's Up and Good Monday Morning to the BlackRadioIsBack.com & FuseBox Radio Broadcast family!

The movie Notorious - covering the good, bad and ugly sides of life and creativity of one of modern Hip-Hop's best MCs (should be at least in your Top 10 or Top 25), The Notorious B.I.G. a.k.a. Biggie Smalls - will be dropping this Friday, January 16, 2008 all over the U.S. movie theatres through Bad Boy Entertainment and Fox Searchlight.



Since his tragic murder (about 12 years ago now, I still remember being a freshman in college at Rutgers U. turning on the radio in the morning to Hot 97 and hearing how quiet and sad everyone was), B.I.G. (born name Christopher Wallace) is beyond a doubt still living on in his artistic influence in the form of Black Music that is Hip-Hop.

Besides hoping that the movie will be good (more Paid In Full status in comparison to Get Rich or Die Trying), my personal hope is that this movie could perhaps have the long-term pop cultural impact of actually at least bringing back some charisma and skill in mainstream Hip-Hop (especially from my folks in the East Coast).



We can debate on lists of who was/is the best Hip-Hop MC and their songs all day, but the 1990s was RULED by Biggie and Tupac in regards to being unique characters who you knew who they were from the gate the second they appeared on the scene and opened their mouths, not mainstream wannabe MC #1,983 over the producer of the day's beat talking uncreative thuggery. :-/
