BlackRadioIsBack.com's and the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast's good peoples over at DIRadioCast (shouts to the sis Africa Allah) & DistinctiveImpression MMG let us know about this great New Media ad campaign for an upcoming Sickle Cell Awareness walk in New York City on September 19, 2009 hosted by the Sickle Cell/Thalassemia Patients Network (SCTPN).
The new media campaign addresses the lack of attention and knowledge about with Sickle Cell with the simple phrase "Who Cares?".
Independent artists & others who are supporting spreading the word about this cause include Brooklyn's Icadon, Cali's Roccett, Atlanta Publicist L of StarLitPR and producer Baby Paul amongst many others - hopefully you can come on board as well.
Please join the push to educate the masses about Sickle Cell Disease through any mean you can - social network postings, pictorial ads, vlogs, podcast & radio interviews, event support, etc.
Even if you can just visit the Sickle Cell/Thalassemia Patients Network (SCTPN) website & let others know about the cause to cure Sickle Cell Disease at http://www.SCTPNWalk.org, it would be greatly appreciated! :)
