Happy Black Music Month 2009 from BlackRadioIsBack.com and the Syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast!
Much love to our folks JayK McCoy of The Black Network for hitting us up w/ the calender to spread the word about Black Music Month 2009! :)
The best way to keep Black Music alive is through supporting mainstream and independent artists and their works, pure and simple - purchasing artist's music, spreading the word, going to shows, requesting the music on ALL radio airwaves (mainstream, college, independent, internet, satellite, etc. ).
We need to appreciate the impact and power of Black Music - whether Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, Blues, House, Afrobeat, etc. - all over the world and continue to put it up to the musical, cultural and societal standards we want it to be in!
Peace,
The BlackRadioIsBack.com and syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast Family
