BlackRadioIsBack.com Says Whut? People Already Showing Their A** About The Situation In Haiti :-/

When I first got this link via the FuseBox Radio/BlackRadioIsBack.com Twitter account barely 12 hours into the tragedy going on over in Haiti, even my relatively unphased by mainstream media foolishness self was a tad shocked.

Pat Robertson hasn't exactly been known for loving People of Color or others outside of his "norm" throughout his career, so ignorant statements on the daily isn't terribly surprising from him or his camp.

However, at a time frame when even Fox News calmed down on their partisanship a bit to cover Haiti in a relatively balanced way (for them) amongst news of devastation, one would kind of like to think Spoken Acts of A**hole-ery could at least be on hiatus for a bit along with stroking "we sho' is scared of independent Darkies" insecurities for at least a day.

Guess I hoped for too much.

Below we have a video clip of Pat Robertson talking about Haiti and some Wheat Thin^ reporter (this broad is really NODDING at this crap?!) just going along w/ the insensitive nonsense he was spitting:

And you know Kristi, something happened a long time ago in Haiti and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French, uh you know Napoleon the third and whatever.

And they got together and swore a pact to the Devil. They said we will serve you if you'll get us free from the French. True Story. And so the Devil said "OK, it's a deal." And they kicked the French out. You know, the Haitians revolted and got themselves free. But ever since they have been cursed by one thing after the other, desperately poor.

That island is Hispaniola is one island. It's cut down the middle. On one side is Haiti, on the other side is the Dominican republic. Dominican Republic is prosperous, healthy, full of resorts, etc.. Haiti is in desperate poverty. Same island. Uh, they need to have, and we need to pray for them, a great turning to God and out of this tragedy. I'm optimistic something good may come...

Besides the fact his history & observations are ALL jacked up (it was Napoleon who was involved in government during Haiti's fight for independence, not Napoleon III and D.R. isn't exactly ballin' out as a country), let's get into the notion that Haiti is being punished.

So in Pat's World, Haiti's ancestors having the outrageous concept that Black People could themselves from a European colonialist country (which in turn spurned freedom movements of People of Color worldwide to this day) would ONLY come from Satan/the Devil/Evil Forces.

And punishment had to come from high after 200 years for having the NERVE to want to not be physical or mental slaves to this day.

Uh Huh.

Only a deal SATAN could draft a deal of souls on his Blackberry of Darkness would let Black People be free?!? Almost by default, that says any Black Person or Person of Color who's NOT beat for the bulls*** has to had a pact with the devil to cause issues for the poor white (power) populace.

And I'm sure Pat has a direct Skype line to The Higher Power to spit this information since we all Know the Lord loves a good "Christian" like him.

As a happily relatively ornery Black American, I've Never Liked those who perpetuate White Supremacist mentality that is consistent of...Well, You Know...

And Pat Robertson is NOT helping out his cause at all this way to not be perceived as that, by the bye.

And for those in the Republican Party who still back this fool after this (* hears crickets in RNC Chairman Micheal Steele's corner aka the Smokey ala "Friday" of the Republican Party), you need to look for a lot of votes to be saying goodbye here in the States.
