SummerStage in Central Park - The Roots Concert: FuseBox Radio X BlackRadioIsBack.com Photo Essay
On Thursday, October 8, 2015, the FuseBox Radio Broadcast/BlackRadioIsBack.com crew attended the last event for this year's run of SummerStage in Central Park concerts as a part of our running around in New York City for various events (including New York Comic Con and New York Super Week).
The weather was perfect such an early fall outdoor music event (not too cold but not too warm...light jacket/hoodie weather ) for the full to capacity audience to enjoy a night of great sets of live old & new school boom bap Hip-Hop and Soul featuring headliners The Roots and special guests (including Talib Kweli in MC & DJ mode, Marsha Ambrosius, Cee-Lo Green, Bilal, Common and Salt-N-Pepa).
It was a perfect closing to the 30th anniversary of the SummerStage concert series (which is extra awesome because their shows are FREE) throughout all of New York's boroughs.
Here are some pictures of the night's festivities - hope that everyone digs 'em!
