Good Afternoon BlackRadioIsBack.com and FuseBox Radio Broadcast supporting family! :)

It's been quite hectic around this way with personal (mostly good, a bit off putting) and professional (pretty darned sweet developments, more formal announcements soon) over here in the this corner of the realm, so I apologize in advance for not having as man updates on the 'site as I should.

Thanks for sticking with me.

Anyway, we had to give props to our family over in the DC Metro who do the Can A Sista Rock A Mic Festival that goes down around that way each year.

Here's a description of what they do for the arts:
Can a Sista Rock a Mic? Festival is a live music and visual arts exhibition from local, National and International women performers. The week of themed events celebrates the convergence of women trendsetters in music, dance, spoken word, media arts and community activism in Washington D.C.

Can a Sista Rock a Mic? is a positive event to counterbalance current images of women in music and media. The event features live music, cultural entertainment, and visual art by various women performers and exhibitors from various cities at uniquely themed, selected venues in Washington, D.C.
We're happy to have be a part of the events going down this year and in the past as both audience members and performing artists. Definitely check out the event breakdown below of everything that's going on (it's wrapping up this week) and support if you can if you're in the DC Metro!

For more information about the Can A Sista Rock A Mic Festival and B-Girl Manifesto, go over to their official website at http://www.CanASistaRockAMic.com.
