I've been rocking this mixtape since I got it early last week from Maryland's own independent Hip-Hop MC & singer Phil Ade.

After hearing some of his earlier music through recommendations of music lovers in the area, the DMV Hip-Hop Music blog scene (shouts out to DJ Heat of DCMumboSauce.com) and his guest appearances on R&B Music star Raheem DeVaughn's latest mixtape, Art of Noise (whose independent label, 368 Music Group, signed him as their 1st official artist), folks were pretty eager to check out the Starting on JV mixtape.

I'm pretty happy to say this mixtape did not disappoint me at ALL - dope rhymes, flow and beats (classic & new joints) definitely show that this brother is going in the right direction.
