I wanted to share this great preview of an upcoming documentary movie made by some of the Hip-Hop generation youth in Trenton, NJ....
Dying to Learn, The Effects of Lead on Inner City Children is the first documentary short film produced by the youth media group, IntelligentSeedz (founded by Hip-Hop MC & activist Wise Intelligent of Poor Righteous Teachers), which set to be officially released in July 2009.
IntelligentSeedz is youth-media organization teaches middle and high school students in the Trenton, NJ Metropolitian area the craft & art of expressing themselves and what is going on around them of film making, music video, print and television production.
We're ALWAYS for free expression in media over here, especially in this day and age where a lot of groups don't get the attention or recognition they deserve about real issues.
It's great to see an organization like IntelligentSeedz encourage independent media as a healthy form of sparking knowledge and conversation amongst the youth and beyond.
