The great thing about spring (finally) being on deck is that every other day, there is an announcement of some great music festival or concert happening all over the U.S.
This time around, it's for the fifth annual Sweetlife Festival being held at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD from May 30 - 31, 2015.
The two-day music festival (expanding from the previous year's one day of events) are going to include a heavy hitter lineup of acts for old & new school lovers of indie & major label Hip-Hop, Rock, EDM, Dance, Pop and more including:
Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Harris, The Weeknd, Pixies, Charli XCX, Billy Idol, Phantogram, Marina & The Diamonds, Bleachers, Tove Lo, Vance Joy, Lucius, Vic Mensa, Allen Stone, SZA, Raury, MisterWives, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Sinkane, San Fermin, Life of Dillon, WET, GoldLink, Sun Club, HOLYCHILD, The BOTS, The Walking Sticks &
Tickets for the Sweetlife Festival are now on sale and can be brought here (with various general admission and VIP admission options).
Proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the “Sweetgreen In Schools” educational program, which was created to introduce kids to the benefits of healthy eating and nutrition. So far, it has included organizing various series of wellness workshops that have involving more than 2,500 students across DC, Maryland, New York & Pennsylvania each year.
