Soundset Festival 2015: Music Programming Announcement
Music festival season is going to be in full effect soon, starting off here in the States for most usually with South by Southwest (SXSW) in March and rolling steadily with all sorts of events throughout the fall.
The latest music festival announcement that has just come through our way as of late is via the folks of the Soundset Festival in Shakopee, MN.
The 8th annual major Midwest rain-or-shine event will be going down again via the fine folks of Rhymesayers during Memorial Day Weekend at Canterbury Park on May 24, 2015 and will feature the following Hip-Hop acts doing their thing on 3 stages:
Atmosphere, J. Cole, Ice Cube, Big Sean, Ludacris, Logic, Yelawolf, Dilated Peoples, Clockwork Indigo (Flatbush Zombies & The Underachievers), Brother Ali, Vic Mensa, Aesop Rock with Rob Sonic & DJ Abilities, Dessa (of Doomtree), DJ Jazzy Jay, Hopsin, Smif-N-Wessun (20 Year Anniversary of Dah Shinin'), DJ Babu, Freddie Gibbs & Madlib, Vince Staples, Watsky, DJ Eclipse, deM atlaS, DJ Supreme, B. This year's Soundset Festival will also be hosted by Sway Calloway of Sirus XM 45, St. Paul Slim & J. Pratt and feature special graffiti & production showcases, B-Boy/B-Girl competition, custom car show and more!
Tickets go on sale for the festivities this weekend, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00am Central Standard Time to the general public through TicketWeb.com and Fifth Element.
With pretty solid prices for a full day of action (general admission tickets are $62 & VIP tickets will run at $140 with both options including facility and parking fees), this looks like fun and affordable music time for our Hip-Hop & Rap lovers in the middle of the country.

DJ Fusion is a short, above average looking Black-American female DJ, writer and photographer in her 30s that's originally from the Prince Georges County, MD and now going back and forth between New Jersey and the DMV (DC/MD/VA).
